اللہ تک پہنچنے کا وسیلہ تلاش کرو
اللہ تعالیٰ مومنوں کو حکم دے رہے ہیں کہ تقویٰ اختیار کریں اور اللہ تک پہنچنے کا وسیلہ ڈھونڈیں۔ مرشد یا شیخ بلا شبہ اللہ کے قرب کا ایک وسیلہ ہی خیال ہے کے بندے کو کسی کی بات ماننے کی بجائے خود سے قرآن پڑھ کر اللہ تک پہنچنے کا راستہ ڈھونڈنا چاہیئے۔ اس آیت سے صاف ظاہر ہے کہ شیخ یا مرشد کا وسیلہ اختیار کرنا نہ صرف جائز ہے، بلکہ اسکا حکم ہے۔ یہ بات درست ہے کہ تقویٰ ہی قرب الٰہی کا معیار ہے، لیکن یہ بھی حقیقت ہے کہ تزکیہ کے بغیر تقویٰ اختیار کرنا محال ہے۔ اور تزکیہ کا عمل شیخِ کامل کے بغیر ممکن نہیں۔

A Muslim Must Seek the Means to be Closer to Allah
This Ayat mubarik asks the believers to look for the means to get closer to Allah. Murshed or Shaykh is doubtlessly a waseela for the same purpose. Some people believe that one should not listen to anyone and try to find his or her own path after reading the Quran. This Ayah clearly shows the permissibly, and the desirability of adopting a means to get closer to Allah. It is a fact that only righteousness and piety are the criteria for Allah's nearness, but it is not possible to have that level of righteousness unless one strives for Tazjkiya. And for Tazkiya, it is imperative to have a Shaykh.
